White Washed into Miraflores

Bienvenido de Nicaragua! i am not going to share a spiritual message this week because i want to tell you all about nicaragua. first of all, its hot. second, the people drive crazy here. i am here in Managua in an area called Miraflores. Mi papa es Elder Perez. He is a great missionary and we get along very well. the food is pretty good and i eat well here. the people here in Managua are very nice and almost everyone listens to the gospel and sets up appointments with us. this week we set 15 baptismal dates, or at least my trainer did because I don't understand anything anyone is saying. nicas love to talk fast and they don't pronounce their "S". people live in poverty here but they are very content. i walk everywhere. i don't get enough sleep so whenever i sit down i start falling asleep almost instantly. the missionaries here are great and Presidente Russell is really great. it is definitely a new experience but i figure i will get used to it in time. oh, and we are also white washing this area so my first day me and elder Perez didn't know anyone or anything about the area so it has been a huge challenge. i miss and love you all!
